National Transcript Center (NTC) is the vendor selected by California School Information Services (CSIS) to develop and maintain the CSIS Transcript Center. The CSIS Transcript Center will be made available to all public PK-12 schools throughout California, and will enable these schools to send student records and transcripts electronically to any PK-12 school, college, and university in the country. Work is already underway on this exciting initiative.


Becoming a CSIS Transcript Center member is easy! All you need to do is complete and return the CSIS Transcript Center enrollment packet below. For more information about becoming a member, contact NTC at 512-879-5400. If you have questions about CSIS data submissions, please contact CSIS at 916-325-9210 or support@CSIS.k12.ca.us.

Membership occurs at the district level, although independently reporting charter schools may join on their own. There are three categories of membership:
LEAs that have an executed contract for the Best Practices Cohort Project – LEAs that have signed a contract with the Kern County Superintendent of Schools to participate in the CSIS Best Practices Cohort Project.

     NTC Master Services Agreement – once completed, fax to 512-879-5499.
     Implementation Checklist – once completed, email to california@transcriptcenter.com.
Pricing: Sending student records/transcripts is FREE while you meet the BP Cohort Deliverable 5. Once this deliverable is met, it is $5.00 per student record/transcript sent via the CSIS Transcript Center.
LEAs that are eligible for the Best Practices Cohort Project but do not have an executed contract – LEAs that are eligible for the Best Practices Cohort Project but have NOT signed a contract with the Kern County Superintendent of Schools to participate in the CSIS Best Practices Cohort Project.

Pricing: Until you have registered for the BP Cohort Project, it is $5.00 per student record/transcript sent via the CSIS Transcript Center. Once you are a registered BP Cohort Participant, this service is FREE while you meet the BP Cohort Deliverable 5. Once this deliverable is met, it is $5.00 per student record/transcript sent via the CSIS Transcript Center.
State Reporting LEAs – LEAs that submit their data to CSIS to satisfy the California Basic Educational Data System (CBEDS), Language Census (R30), and Student National Origin Report (SNOR) State Reporting.
