Systems Administrator

I am a Systems Administrator. How can CTC work with my school's information system?

Because it is a Web-based application, there is no software to install and CTC can be accessed from anywhere, at anytime. As CTC is the official electronic student record and transcript exchange system for the state of Colorado, school districts can upload their student records and transcripts as PDF documents or as student data. Importing data to the CTC is completed through a data extract from your Student Information System. (The data format must be CTC PESC XML compliant.) Once the data extract has been created, it may be uploaded through the CTC user interface, or sent to CTC via secure file transfer protocol (SFTP).

If you are interested in utilizing PESC XML to upload your data, please download the PESC implementation packet. The "Manage Student Records" section of the CTC user guide will walk you through uploading your records once your data extract is ready. If you have questions about the extract, formatting, or upload process, please email colorado@transcriptcenter.com. Keep your district on the leading edge of technology by using CTC to send and receive student records and transcripts. Talk to your Superintendent about signing up.

I want to learn more! Download the PESC implementation packet.
